Haus Seidl is run by me, Reinhard Seidl, and my wife Sonja. We take care of you all year, so you can feel the comfort of our family atmosphere in this wonderful mountain scenery

We care for each of our guests personally. Of course we guide you on weekends after appointment through your mountains, in order to show you during far-reaching tours the beauty of the landscape around Hinterthal.

Our house is situated at the end of a dead end road in the center of the small village Hinterthal, so that quietness and tranquility are part of your days. Leaving our house after about 30 meters the trails and climbing tracks into the trekking and climbing area of Hochkönig start. We are situated at the base of Hochkönig massif, so that reaching the summit of the highest mountains or just visiting the mountain huts with their traditional food and drinks is very easy.

A small supermarket can easily be reached within 300 meters, as well the central station for the walking buses to Maria Alm, Saalfelden, Zell am See etc. in about 200 m distance.
